@avd18 I have feet in both worlds still -- FB and Social.coop; Linux OS; DuckDuckGo; Drupal website on a commercial web host; gmail; marginal use of Riot; zoom instead of Skype, but can't get Jitsi to be reliable... Google docs...
@avd18 I haven't been able to completely get rid of Google due to the Play Store and Google Maps. 😠
@mindnmotion I understand, I'm on osx/ios now so no play but googlemaps was hard to give up. I will have to look for some open maps project to see if that works. Or just get lost :/ I would like to go full blown GNU/Linux in the future though :)
@avd18 My aim is be full blown OpenBSD in the future. I am 90% of the way there.
@avd18 I'm not sure you can even delete Skype. Best you can do is randomize the profile and change the password and never log into it again.
@pertho I did that a while back so I don't remember exactly. Maybe I just deleted(deactivated) the associated MS-account. You can never be sure that anything actually gets deleted. I'm just hoping to stop feeding them new data.
@avd18 Yeah I think that's the best you can do, though you could have "poisoned the well" before you deketed/deactivated hehe
