that "90% use case" rewrite might be possible (though I think 90% is way too high a percentage), but then it also wouldn't be a curl alternative. :)
To me curl is curl because it's such a Swiss army knife. :)
The exploit one was especially sickening...
@bagder Oh, I could rewrite curl as well. No biggie there. It just would take me a couple of years. And the first three attempts would be wrong.
@bagder we already have a perfect curl rewrite - httpie :)
