On this day twenty-seven years ago, I released the first #curl version. I called it 4.0 as I kept the versioning from the previous names.
@bagder hapy birthday, curl!
@bagder thank you for all you do, Ser.
Without Curl the Geek world would have been like a slice of bread without butter
Happy birthday to `Curl`
@bagder what? an open-source software project and you changed its name? ;)
@bagder it was my ten years old BD. I do remember this day.
Great job Daniel.
@crusy hopefully it will live a little longer..
@bagder my 11 year old called me into his room the other day to show me something he was working on (an 11 year old working on something I know) anyway, he pops open a terminal writes out a curl script and next thing you know he’s Rick Rolling me in ascii, so thanks for that.
@bagder thank you for curl!
@bagder Thank you for carrying this water for the rest of us for so long. Yesterday I learned about `--write-out`.
@bagder thank you for your service (genuinely)
@bagder happy curling day
@bagder I mean Netscape did it back then too. Going directly to 4.0 was the trend of the day!
@bagder Happy anniversary!
