One of my favorite birds! Probably my second favorite, after the black-throated magpie jay.
The variegated fairywren. I probably won't paint this one though, since I tend only to paint animals that live near me, and this one lives in Australia, I think.

ive been knitting for five hours :)

I am tired and I am letting go of grudges and trauma induced by over a decade of working in this sector. My body cannot hold this weight anymore.

I want to build better futures, stitch together stories together, and to do that I need to let go. We all do - just a little.

Do you have a favourite kombucha flavour? Now that I'm making it myself at home, I'm looking for ideas!

Here's what I have on my list so far:
- ginger, cayenne and lime
- lychee
- passionfruit
- pineapple
- yuzu

I also have a variety of teas I can brew it with. My first batch was a medium oolong. This next one is a strong Assam. I have all the teas available for brewing!
