Beehive 0.3, an open-source event & automation system is out!

So many fixes plus 17(!) new hives in this release!

Now your bees can interact with GitHub, Facebook, Mastodon or OpenWeatherMap, to name just a few of the new supported services.

@beehive what’s the difference between this and something like node-red?

Not much of a difference if I'm being honest. Beehive lacks the visual flow editor, but supports Go's powerful template engine.

Some say Beehive's deployment is a lot more straight forward though: it's not built on Node.js, but Go instead.

It's rather similar, really. Deployment is easier, as it's written in Go. It also runs nicely on a Pi, not sure how well huginn behaves there nowadays.

OK, neat. I never got around to deploying huginn but always intended to. I will put this on the list to try out.
