I haven't really been following but isn't their argument something like "forcing the sale of the company" won't shut it down? Not that status quo will change anything either.
When you logically follow the train of thought about why centralized social media is bad it's not long before you end up thinking centralized pretty much anything is bad. Yada yada yada socialism. And there's nothing wrong with that if it's the end of the enshitification :-)
