Considering ordering a PRUSA I3 MK3 kit as my next 3D printer. I think it'd be fun to build it myself (and it's cheaper in kit form). On the other hand, I have no idea if it'd be a calibration nightmare.
@bigzaphod do you have any experience with Ultimaker’s line of printers?

@bigzaphod I still don’t understand why 3D printers STILL cannot print other 3D printers, preferably of the bigger and better variety.
@chartier there are actually some designs for that! Some of the kit options are, in fact, mostly 3D printed themselves. :)
@bigzaphod i just got a monoprice maker select and ... i feel like i can get pretty far modifying this before i really want to go out of my way to build something from scratch. did you look at the dremel printer?
I have a Monoprice Select Plus right now which, I believe, is just a knockoff (or repackage?) of a WanHao Duplicator i3 Plus which is itself probably a knockoff of something else.
