Who can recommend a standalone sieve client for Linux? It is really annoying that I always have to start Thunderbird, just to edit mit sieve rules...

@bjoern KDE PIM has a good standalone Sieve editor. The same UI that KMail provides. The binary is named simply "sieveeditor".
@bjoern Roundcube can do that, but unfortunately it is not standalone.

@bjoern I've created my own bash scripts for download the sieve, then edit it with the editor of your choice and then upload it again.
