The "Simple Mobile Tools" apps are really nice. I use many of them and really recommend to have a look at them.

@bjoern I came from windows phone to android about a year ago and being used to a relatively barren outpost of apps, I was ready to enter the big city of android and be blown away. Instead I was overwhelmed by a deluge of shady apps and found it impossible to find reliable and trustable apps for even stupid simple stuff like a flashlight app. Fdroid and apps like simple mobile tools are the only reason I stuck with android.

@bjoern Ironically, the situation is so bad that even though almost no one made apps for windows phone, the fact that no one tried to make money with shady apps on windows phone arguably made the situation better than the play store on android and what not.
