The @NOTAM system is woefully inadequate and unsafe, not only for general pilots, but also for the airlines.

Flew VOR, ILS, and GPS approaches in 750/2 conditions with 17G30 winds, staying ahead of the airplane the whole time. Feels awesome.

Personal minimums and equipment failures are conspiring to keep me grounded today. The plane with the working autopilot has no alternator, and the plane with the alternator has an unreliable autopilot, and I don’t fly into IMC (clouds; which we’ll have all day) without an autopilot, or at all without an alternator (in a plane that’s supposed to have one).

When you accidentally ground loop your custom built million dollar toy. RIP Draco! Glad the owner/builder owned his mistake; that couldn’t have been easy.
