Read some things recently that have cooled my enthusiasm over Mastodon a little. I still see the potential and like the distributed nature (and think it’s an advantage), but I might want to let the platform breathe a little and see if the hype is truly founded first.
But, what I’ve read may also be the result of unrealistic expectations that Mastodon can solve all of Twitter’s problems.
