I find a lot of these 'analytical' articles crass & distasteful. We're talking about an incredibly important moment in our history, but the author uses street language like "their haul", as if (unfortunately necessary) fundraising is like a bank robbery or smash-&-grab burglary. It demeans the almost life/death seriousness of this race, imo.
@lolonurse These publications tend to use punchy, colloquial language to describe complex issues in short form. It lacks subtlety and sometimes substance but I find digesting several of these more edifying than the dishonest pedantry and relentless both-sidesing of bigger outlets' political "analysis". I am a simple person. Give it to me straight with spelling errors
