Re-upping my privacy-related question for Abstractions abstractions.io/ -- if attendance requires an NFC wristband, which participants are asked to not remove when they go home for the night between conference days, please update your FAQ & privacy policy to reflect that. twitter.com/brainwane/status/1

A more comprehensive blog post on the current RFID wristband policy, and privacy/health/safety/ inclusivity concerns that Abstractions II should address @abstractionscon@twitter.com, from @jasonaowen@twitter.com jasonaowen.net/blog/2019/Aug/1

Organizers, I know some of you, we've had good chats - what's up?

Organizers have updated their privacy policy and wristband-wearing requirements: codeandsupply.co/policies/priv & twitter.com/abstractionscon/st

This is somewhat better! Glad for the change. Hope they'll update the FAQ & ticket sales page too.

@brainwane my rule of thumb re wristbands:

I should not have to break my thumb at the end of the day to take it off so I can sleep.
