Turns out Mastodon has built-in RSS and Atom feeds. Doesn't show up too well in the unstyled Wordpress RSS widget though:

· · Web · 1 · 0 · 5

Your feed URL is [instance]/users/[username].rss or .atom, for example I have mastodon.social/users/brownpau

@brownpau Thank you. Like all documentation on the internet still shows the old .atom method. The whole URL is different now XD.

@psiie @brownpau
Not all that different. For my feed it is: social.tchncs.de/@murks.rss

So it is: [instance]/@[name].rss

@brownpau can you get an rss of your local timeline using rss or is there a workaround? I use an app called hermit that is basically just a glorified web browser, & only supports notifications through rss. Is there a way I can get that through rss?
