@bthall @zacts I want my desktop to (1) work consistently and without much hassle, (2) work the way I like, (3) allow me to customize if desired, and (4) other than that, stay out of my way. I used to cycle between kde and blackbox, fluxbox, icewm; then it was kde and xfce, lxde. But kde is there about 80% of the time.

@lnxw48a1 @bthall 80% is pretty accurate too. KDE isn't perfect, but it's there more often than not.

@bthall @lnxw48a1 @zacts I'm pretty sure I've used i3 for longer than I used any other window manager in the 22 years I've been using X11. Prior to that I'm pretty sure the winner was fvwm.
