I'm surprised that amidst the #privacy freakout in the #tech community, a hosted alternative to #GoogleAnalytics hasn't emerged. Serving mid-sized sites and orgs using a #FLOSS / #FOSS #analytics package on a free trial basis to encourage trying it out and eventually either moving towards using it on a subscription basis or self-hosting could provide lots of visibility to those projects, provide more funding, and get out there the notion that GA isn't the only option. #opensource #marketing
