When FOX News finally stops denying my Constitutional right to an hour of primetime every evening I'm going to wear a CENSORED mask over my face in solidarity with all those who's rights to an hour of primetime every evening are still being denied.
It was really weird living in this neighborhood, a couple blocks from where this market was just built, and constantly running into "food deserts are actually a fiction" in odd corners of the discourse.
It's utterly bizarre to me that the Senate precedent (in three cases) is that it can 'disqualify' any federal official from holding any future office without a two-thirds conviction but a simple majority vote in a 'judgement'. Like at anytime a party with the majority in both houses wanted to violate a few norms nothing is stopping them from systematically barring the entirety of the other party's incumbents from running again in the next term.
From Dr. Oz to America's Frontline Doctors. Some doctors are also scientists, but you don't see many MD/PhDs shilling Dr Mercola's miracle cures. Pharmacology can't be expected to be much better. You see the same sort of thing with tenured professors from Spherical Cow departments routinely trashing climatology.
It's worth keeping in mind that the leaders, funders, and primary promoters of anti-vax shit in America have come from a dominant sub-culture among chiropractors, and affording much authority to somebody for their MD -- which is really just a complex vocational degree and not a demonstration of any special scientific understanding -- has earned this country nothing but anti-scientific rube-swindling headaches.
