I got a survey from the DNC and I fixed one of their options https://mastodon.social/media/UwXRbe0KN8ts8xoiU7k
@pnathan It's probably not gonna matter anyway because my handwriting is garbage and they probably aren't gonna read these really so shrug emoji
@bwreilly yeah i don't see the point of that survey. i think actually doing the legwork to talk to people will do a much better job.
I kinda roasted the person who called for a DNC donation about the money vacuum the DNC is too. Specially with all the millionaires on tap, they don't need my chump change. I want results, or the reason why, not milquetoast "oops" or fingerpointing.

Yes! 100%. There are local parties everywhere and as far as I can tell they meet monthly and walk their precincts every ~2 years.
They should not let the moment pass them. This - right now - is the time to put in the shoe-leather and form the party, strategy, and polices based on what they find.
@bwreilly Yeah.... I've tried to push the WA dems a bit on this, but I'm just an ordinary working joe, I'm not an "Activist" with the ability to work on this fulltime, so the care levels are low.
but the wa dems should be hitting up every parade, every fair, every single community event.
@bwreilly I'm not really a progressive, to be honest: I want to see coalition and caring for more than just the DC/SF/Seattle/Boston zones. I mean, sure, the policies are there, but the faces of the party, the people, the things Dems are up front yelling about, they just don't relate to anyone I know outside of the Seattle sphere.
sigh.
@bwreilly haha yeah I had a few sharp remarks for that survey. I was like...
