quaternary realization: still feel a strong draw to this aesthetic, and this draw is very much surrounded by tinges of nostalgia. which is always a touchy topic for me as I'm pretty repulsed by most of my past

tertiary realization: my decision that this is something worth mentioning here is the result of a drunken pointless wikipedia rabbit hole excursion and really isn't important in any way

sudden realization: my draw to goth aesthetics in the past, starting around high school, was very very very much tied to their embrace of androgyny and sometimes outright femininity in men

secondary realization: my admiration thereof mostly from a distance was very much tied to my discomfort with my own gender expression
