A stone wall (1st pic) marks the boundary of common land where sheep and horses rule over the rolling miles of windy moorland heather that I will be calling home for the next two days. Behind me (2nd pic) the distant yet still iconic Skirrid continues to dominate the otherwise flat countryside in the south. I can understand the urge to use these long hikes contemplating deep truths. However I'm just listening to a backlog of podcaster eulogies for David Graeber.
