Every Lawrence Kasdan film has this admirable slow burn to it, like he has paced the film for people to feel tension and space between them. I admire his craft and I would like to be more like him

The Bodyguard has aged okay thanks to how the script makes Costner a total pawn to it, he is swept along in it - anyone could have played his role and Kasdan could have believably made the tension happen between the two leads
