@caraellison All of those games have been about gameifying those historical scenarios as opposed to simulating them, from as far as I can remember, the 90s? As if alternate game designs were not possible or just out of the question
It's almost as if Civ has inherited some kind of.... cultural tradition..... that wipes out difference..... and recycled old tropes as a given..... maybe we should be making new systems that centre people???? whoa
