Cassian
Pyrite 0.15.8 is here, allowing Pyrite's flowers to be placed in flower pots, and (in 0.15.6) adding Stained Glass for Pyrite's dyes. These updates also fix even more issues found in testing. #mcdev #fabricmc modrinth.com/mod/pyrite

Cassian
getting real tired of my mastodon instances exploding. i love the idea of mastodon, but i'm also a big fan of my *posts staying around for more than five minutes*

might stay here on the big instance. might figure out self hosting, because at this point the only person i trust to keep something running is myself. maybe i'll just stay on bluesky.

i want mastodon to work, but i cannot stand losing what makes my profile mine.

Cassian
Pyrite 0.15 is officially out! Pyrite 0.15 is now available on Modrinth for 1.20.1, 1.21.1 and 1.21.3. #mcdev #Minecraft

Cassian
she is literally a circle

Cassian
absolutely reasonable number of modified files in this commit

Cassian
Brief showcase of the CC: Tweaked integration that I added to recent versions of Infinite Dimensions. Looking forward to seeing player's fancy computer controlled portal setups!

Cassian
the downside of coding on the latest version is that you're the one finding new ways to crash the game (experimenting with registry unfreezing on 1.21.3)

Cassian
happy 1.21.2 day all my #minecraft mods are updated including pyrite, item descriptions, clickthrough+, and villager trading plus! modrinth.com/user/Cassian...

Cassian
perfectly normal git commits hapening in this repo

Cassian
mc 1.21.2 is changing how recipes work. unfortunately i have over 1,200 of those

Cassian
hello esteemed fediverse, please welcome the dell venue 8 pro.

this distinguished <del>e-waste</del> functional tablet originally shipped with a 32bit version of windows 8, alongside a whopping gig of RAM.

because windows 8 is so out of date i wasn't even able to install firefox for some light web browsing, i opted to try and find a linux distro to install.

after two days of trial and error running through every distro this incredibly helpful guide recommended, i finally ended up with zorin os 15 lite. i tried various other distros, including ubuntu mate, lubuntu, and elementary os, but zorin was the only one that managed to install correctly - in spite of having its boot usb forcefully removed near the end of installation. go figure.

at this point, it seems to be mostly functional. the battery indicator and rotation aren't working (yet), and more pressingly the virtual keyboard isn't working either. still, it's been a fun thing to experiment with.
