I've long been in the "reform GNU" camp and Deb and I have actively tried to make GNU a different, more welcoming place with MediaGoblin. More to say on that later. Anyway, I hope, but I suppose we will find out, whether or not that's true. I hope that if we decided to take such a step in MediaGoblin to do something to make the community more welcoming, that would be respected.

@catonano The joke is awkward and not great and on its own, I think it wouldn't be getting this match attention. The problems are that a) it's part of a pattern and b) when people with ovaries did weigh in on their opinions, as the group who are best fit to judge the situation, they were ignored and c) why should rms be able to block a gnu member project trying to make its community more welcoming like this?
