@DragonIV Thanks. Socialising is hard! Actively refining your behaviour like that is a really good thing, I wish more people did it (myself included).

@cbowdon Part of my social foibles are analyzing my own interactions with others to death. Some good with that, and a whole lot of "let's just not bother doing any socializing, it's too much work"

Then I forget the hermit act, do something dumb again, and rinse/repeat.

@DragonIV I remember from some documentary years ago that the brain has evolved to continually remind us of our mistakes and punish us with some unwelcome hormones, in an attempt to prevent us repeating them. I wish it didn’t do that, replaying bad interactions endlessly can really bring you down.

@cbowdon Best part is, you know you're doing it and likely why, but the net effect on you is the same.
