@cdevroe for https://stupidwordgame.com/ have you considered just making it be a "3 backspaces and you're out" sort of thing? Main thing is that it seems like being forced to commit a guess after 2 backspaces is sort of pointless because by the time I need to do that I already know I made a mistake and no word I type is going to be correct anyway. If that makes sense.

@bigzaphod I have adjusted this “mechanic?” many times. Im unsure if I’ve found the right balance or not.
One tip my wife came up with: If you get a red letter in the middle of the word, just keep typing. Each letter will turn green if it falls in the right position. Gives you information for your next guess.
