Since I had gone MIA on here, I never got to post about my very short (<3 minute) prototype. It was intended to be an actual full playable game with a single quest but I ran out of time. Current #zeldalike #zeltropia features added today: multi-directional enemy (a rockthrower a la the Octoroks), and a sliding menu that does nothing but slide open and closed, and allow you to quit with 'q' #gamedev #godot
Figured out how to prevent my player from being hit out of a room in my #zeldalike #zeltopia game. Also cemented in some iframes and special enemy drops (ie. keys)
Now just need to figure out how to animate it without it going to 0,0
