@tastytentacles Completely valid. I believe the devs of Godot pronounce it Go-dot, so you're on the technically correct side of history with GIF hahaha I just hope they don't hate people like me that pronounce it G'doh.

Since I had gone MIA on here, I never got to post about my very short (<3 minute) prototype. It was intended to be an actual full playable game with a single quest but I ran out of time. @tastytentacles I started with saying Go-dot, but the seemingly majority use across the Godot Youtube spectrum has me pronouncing it similar to Gal Gadot's last name haha

Current features added today: multi-directional enemy (a rockthrower a la the Octoroks), and a sliding menu that does nothing but slide open and closed, and allow you to quit with 'q'

@Pervertor @Gargron I sometimes say global-ai-sation and sometimes say global-ih-sation. Depends on the preceding and proceeding words. WHY ARE THOSE TWO WORDS SPELLED SO DIFFERENT? Oh god... my brain.

@Pervertor @Gargron As a Canadian, I say a-loo-min-um, but also spell with s's rather than z(ed)'s, so globalisation (or I try to before auto-correct applies the red line of doom)

Figured out how to prevent my player from being hit out of a room in my game. Also cemented in some iframes and special enemy drops (ie. keys)

Now just need to figure out how to animate it without it going to 0,0
