why is meetup so terribly bad? i'm paying money to organize a group, and the group's page is down 1/5 of the time i go to look at it. 🥴

the only reason i went with them was because they have the largest user base. maybe i will not renew the subscription when that comes around in a few months. i could direct my current members somewhere else, but where?

https://downtomeet.com looks the most promising.
until i realized they have not made an update in 1-2 years. there's no blog, no recent social media posts, and only 3-5 active groups there.

We really do need betters options for meetup management. I don't see anything useful in the Fediverse.

@autumn Is there a WP plugin? Combined with social sign in so nobody needs another account somewhere it would probably be easy enough to use.
