@relsqui Someone on Twitter pointed that out too! It is indeed. I'd classify it as "demake", I think the levels are original. The Twitter person didn't mention Snakebird was on mobile, I might have to grab it there!

@cincodenada aha! I was thinking it might have been a prototype, a la the Pico-8 versions of Celeste and Slipways. yay, you're in for a treat. also if the difficulty of the demake is comparable to the full game and you finished it, you're much better at it than I am, I find it both delightful and unplayably hard.

@relsqui The demake only had a couple levels, but I did end up buying Snakebird and it took a few weeks, but yesterday I beat the final level! It was definitely very challenging, and thoroughly enjoyable. The mechanics built on each other well, and got fiendishly but not unassailably tricky. I definitely had to come back to a few levels tho.

@relsqui Ha, thanks! And thanks for pointing out its existence. It played right into my favorite puzzle elements, and is seriously one of my favorite puzzle games I've played in ages. I found some levels damn hard, but ultimately solvable without a lot of wild guessing, which too many games use as a substitute for difficulty. Also, SO DAMN CUTE the noises and faces made me smile the whole way though.
