To add translation to almost any iOS app, including #Amaroq:

- Install the Workflow app on your phone: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/workflow-powerful-automation-made-simple/id915249334?mt=8
- Open it. Go to Gallery. Search for "translate article". Install the "...to English" version
- View an Amaroq status. Tap ..., then Share, then "...More" on the bottom. Enable "Run Workflow"
- Tap Run Worflow, then Translate Article. Give it permission. Read the translated article in a popup window

Whenever the Mastodon new car smell wears off lets all remember these past couple of weeks where we all worked to be inclusive and supportive of each other, where we gave every new member a pineapple as a welcome gift, and where we enthusiastically created more than EIGHT HUNDRED small communities in the hope that everyone could have a place where they felt at home.

like, to be honest, my main issue with the shared instance block lists is not that they exist, but that:

(a) they are not sourced with any of reason for why you should block them,
(b) some of these instances don't really have good reasons for why you should block *everyone* on them,
(c) some of them are nonsensical because either they're misspelled, or Mastodon can't federate with them anyway,
(d) despite these issues, people are encouraged to import them anyway For The Good Of The Users,
(e) unintended consequences could happen if every instance just adopted this list; whoever decides what gets on it controls a large part of the fediverse.

tl;dr: outsourcing this decision-making to someone else without review is a really bad idea unless you really trust them

#Amaroq for Mastodon v1.0.4 update: Lots of fixes and minor improvements, enough that’s not going to fit in 500 chars hehe. Most notably brings in dynamic font size support, which is controllable via Accessibility in the Settings.app. Hopefully you all will enjoy being able to read Amaroq a little better. Follow request support has also been added. :3 Those looking for VoiceOver support I have not forgotten you - I hope to get that squared away for v1.1. Thank you~
