All those developers at Google who think they’re God’s gift and must remove URLs because “they don’t work” should really take a deep look into the mirror.
They’re doing this in an intransparent, undemocratic process abusing their quasi-monopoly on Internet search and Internet browsers.
@Gargron @davewoodx that's a fair point for discussion, but different than what is stated on the block list.
I'd still prefer if you blocked searching for it, but not direct following. That should be my desicion.

Another thing to add to the Google graveyard will be Google Play Music. It looks like they'll replace it with Youtube Music in the near future.
#Centralized services are not for you. They're for profit and when it doesn't happen, you pay in other ways.

I'm extremely pleased to launch Run Your Own Social: How to run a small social network site for you friends.
This is a guide book to running a small, tight-knit federated social network server. It comes from my year of experience running Friend Camp. It's focused largely on SOCIAL solutions, though it does touch on the technical.
I've tried to keep it technology-neutral, and it should be a pretty easy read for anyone who's been on the fediverse for a while.
@thomasfuchs @trinsec @carbontwelve It is the "through company X's cloud service" bit that I have problems with... sadly, i haven't found a way to do OCR without it... My document scanner scans to my synology, which syncs to onedrive, but sadly, i haven't found a way to add OCR to that :/
