isn't it different voltages and amperages that would not allow to do this?
@kaia It seems that this isn't an issue as most modern laptops are using USB-C ports supporting USB-PD (Power Delivery).
Same plugs have different voltage and vise versa so…
Some laptops take two voltages (e.g. 12V + 5V) in those cases a usual hollow-DC-plug will not do the job.
Many devices are able to handle slightly derivation of voltage but I wouldn't try it on an expensive one like a computer XD
Higher amperage of the power delivery are no problem, lower are.

@computertruhe ich habe hier ein Projekt, das ich mit einem alten Laptop umsetzen will. Ich finde aber dass Ladekabel einfach nicht mehr und das ist extrem nervig
@mschfr Um welches Gerät handelt es sich denn konkret? Mit genauen Angaben kann ich Mal schauen, ob ich etwas Passendes im Keller habe.
@macst3r Danke für das Angebot - ich bin mir aber sehr, sehr sicher, dass das Ladekabel noch hier irgendwo in meinem eigenen Kabelchaos sein muss. Entsorgt habe ich es nämlich definitiv nicht
