I ended up running that #dnd one-shot I was talking about.
My flow wasn't really great since it was my first time DMing in English, instead of my native language, however the new players seemed to enjoy it and ended up rp-ing for a great deal of the sess.

Also, none of the pc's died so that's a plus

hello fellow DMs. How deadly/easy should I make my encounters on a introductory adventure for a few #dnd newbie players?

I don't want to go too easy on them to give them the concept of a challenge, but ofc the lack of experience is always an issue

Asses to asses, bust to bust

So one of my students complained to me about the fact that he probably wouldn't ever use c++ anytime soon in his line of work (he's into web design) and that having no option to opt out of certain core classes at uni is an issue.
I must say that I kinda agree with him, but the uni system here is a bit deprecated and won't change any time soon.
I mean it's no wonder how the majority of classes have a success rate of a 30% average.
I am all about computer *science* but it's def not for everyone
