Seems like with instances, best bet is to create one central... persona, where you curate followers and HARVEST THEIR SOULS I mean hang out broadly, but then join separate communities as you see fit to participate in them? Maybe? Is that accurate?

this is something that happens when we have huge influxes like this, because we want new users to feel comfortable and have all the information about how to use the site

Given that half my timeline here is talking about I DON'T UNDERSTAND INSTANCES WHERE AM I WHAT IS HAPPENING, ideally Mastodon will take a hard look at making logins universal and this concept understandable.
