Found an old photo of my dad when he worked at Chrysler (back row, second from right), and on the reverse it was labeled "Chrysler Missile Division". I had no idea that Chrysler made missiles, so I asked him about it.

Me: "Operation Paperclip? You worked with Nazi engineers?"
Dad: "You mean Werner von whats-his-name? Yeah, but mostly his brother Magnus. And they were SURRENDERED Nazi scientists."

Dad: "The Redstone. It was my first job after the Army and college."
Me: "The Redstone? The first nuclear missile?"
Dad: "Yeah. I wasn't a rocket scientist. I just wrote the damn instruction manuals. They were new back then, and nobody understood how to operate them."
