I don’t know if I want this to be my instance. I want a cozy trans friendly instance. I don’t think it’s a good idea to have my data on any US server tbh.

The irony is that Jabber was totally a thing. Federated and all. I think we need some way to make it or some new variant work with Mastodon.

Is there any chance that Mastodon could extend to be an encrypted messaging platform? We need it more than ever with Skype being censored by Microsoft over SESTA/FOSTA as the companies with all our data and communication turn our backs on us.

I sorta stopped going on Mastodon because of the shame of letting people down and closing my instance with no warning. I had no idea how to fix the SSL issue with letsencrypt not being renewed so I just gave up. I feel bad about showing my face around here to be honest.

Things should be running smoother. Upped my workers to 6 from 4.

Almost at a hundred users, I have to scale up. I'm started to see enqueued.

Alright mastodon, I could use some help setting up my instance. I have no idea what I'm doing with the nginx config. I copied it from the guide and nginx fails to load.
