I didn't realize how complicated the design of shovels were
I mean the stamped ridges have to be just so to avoid flexing, but not too much to compromise integrity of the steel
And the front angle has to be just so to make it easy to push through soil, but not too sharp to avoid breaking the tip
All of this even before getting into the complexity of "tri-folding" entrenching tools
