If you're using , you may have seen this dialog (or maybe someone boosted it into your TL). It seems to imply you have to pay them for the privilege of ignoring updates

This seems to have been a poorly worded dialog and not what they're actually doing

They've added a "Snooze" to close it, which would have prevented some concern in the first place

@cypnk They are making a lot of...choices. Apparently the investors are getting impatient and they’re trying to monetize. The limits on Docker Hub pulls are just the beginning. There are alternative container runtimes but Docker Desktop is kinda the place to start if you need a cash cow. WSL and MacOS really only have Docker Desktop, especially for building, developing, and testing multiarch images.
