We need more #designers and #UX people involved in #FOSS projects
This was recognised at http://www.openusability.org/ where they propose some specfic guidelines for FOSS #developers.
Better UX design is one of the reasons why #Mastodon was more quickly adopted. If FOSS projects want broader user adoption, they have to seriously consider their user experience. Technical functionality and support is only one half of the project.
We'll never replace Adobe with FOSS unless UX is addressed
@danie10 I definitely agree with this, question is, how to get a coherent UX in FOSS if there is no authority to validate all changes in term of UX. Each single point of UX is a matter of opinion, but to get something coherent, you have to impose a responsability on someone (team), in my opinion...
