The main issue with LineageOS is that my phone feels like it's held together with duct tape. Stuff randomly breaks, it's awkward, and every few months when there's a firmware upgrade I have to factory reset and start all over again, which takes hours, and I'm always afraid I'm going to break something when I muck around in recovery mode.

Using Ubuntu on a laptop is really not that hard; I don't feel like I'm missing much compared to either macOS or Windows. Why are open-source phones so hard??

Show thread

@ajroach42 i have said it before and I will keep saying

Give me the next next generation!!

I don’t want prequels, I don’t want movies, I only kinda want the Picard show. I want the show that’s 60-80 years after tng, 1 cameo in the first few episodes, and then all new shit. Except for the throwback eps obvs.

Last time I traveled by plane, 2 previous planes to my destination where delayed, and my plane was also delayed.

Each arriving plane would go back to this destination, so as you imagine, the 1st plane which landed went back with the 2nd group, the 2nd plane went back with us, and the 1st group who was waited the longest time had to wait for the 3rd plane.

All flight times where screwed. All planes where to the same destination. Everybody was kind.

Only the flight number makes sense.
