@dansup If I ask too may question, please push back. Trying to get my head around how federations handle a media-centric presence in a mixed-media 'verse. E.g. Can I like and comment on Pixelfed posts from my Mastodentity? Or would local Pixelfed instance login be required? Configurable?

@jeff Yeah, you can comment on Pixelfed posts from Mastodon & vice versa. This gives us parity with Mastodon so we can display text only posts in timelines.

obscure question: Do you think we will be seeing a "Media-Only" option like what's found on the Mastodon timelines? Or inversely, "Display Text-Only Posts" option.
