Open APIs are so magical, and @Mastodon really pioneered this with their implementation.
Thanks to them, you have a vibrant ecosystem of 3rd party apps that have the same access and rate limits as the official app.
I do the same with Pixelfed and Loops, and soon Sup.
We all thrive without ad-driven limitations
