#Crochet socks are done! I'm hoping that if I felt together the ends of the yarn remnants, I'll have enough for at least one more sock. I'd like to make some longer ones to wear around home.
These are using the Survival Socks pattern from Ravelry, by Elin Stoodley: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/survival-socks
(My only change is that I only increased to 38 stitches, and didn't do the ribbed top.)
And Mondial Bio-Lana yarn in Ivory.
And, I was just notified of a basic intro to historic fiber arts class at ICW, as well as a spindle-making class. The latter has limited places, so I've signed up on the provisio that if it fills up suddenly then I'm happy to drop my place.
There's still the lady at the markets who offers lessons and cheap spindles, and I might get lucky in the ICW marketplace with spindles as well.
