@brian by all accounts the issue here is relying on each browser's default setting. If you were to specify via `top` and `left` values on the div?

@david_ross That moves it to the viewport top left as expected. It's still strange that Firefox keeps the relative DOM position when the position was fixed and set in the grid.

It's funny because I actually _want_ it center aligned with the main div. Was super simple in FF by accident 🀷
