@deirdrespencer I have mixed feelings about this. We saw the documentary about it, and Jodoroswky comes across as a total magpie collecting bits of shiny creative material and ill-suited celebrities into an incoherent whole. I think his movie would have been a disaster if he had managed to complete it! It’s like dialing to 11 the Toto-and-Sting parts of Lynch’s version.

@migurski ha, yes, it does sound like a hot mess. No wonder it didn’t happen. But still, quite the roster of cool.

The documentary is very interesting but I also think that it may have been a disaster when you see that Star Wars, released later, didn't come close to some of the ideas Jodorowsky had
