I started using the Orbot app as a Tor vpn for the Tusky app on my android phone yesterday. Im pleasantly surprised that it didn't really slow down the feed too much.
I know its not a perfect privacy solution but its better than nothin and it was an easy non-techy way to add a layer of security to my toots. Just downloaded the app, adjusted a couple settings and boom, bip, bow Mastodon over Tor

Lol. #switter might just help close the gender gap in tech. It certainly seems to have helped solidify the continued existence of the #fediverse.

Got that 2006 feeling last night after i joined the #federation. You know that hopefull feeling of anticiparion all us creative's were feeling during that 5 minute span of time between when social media first hit the scene and everyones best friend, Tom, sold us all out for some multimillion dollar deal. Here's to #mastodon and hoping that feeling can stay :)
