Took me an hour or so to get far enough in the game to check, but yes the game has always been oddly slow. Internally. However that works. The job minigames are very poor.

The "Mandela Effect" refers to that sensation when you're deathly incurious about the rest of the world.

I don't want to play Exapunks, as such. I mean I think I've got about as far as my brain can manage. I would just like to live in there, for a little bit.

Fable 3 on Xbox One feels a bit slow and scratchy which I guess could be chalked up to the BC process, but I seem to recall it not being great shakes on the PC?

Anyway I opened up my game to online co-op and all the people who joined just proceeded to start murdering and breaking the town I was in, so as always I am the architect of my own downfall.

A very Australian thing here, but I value NITV so much.

aus covid shit

I hope everyone in vic/melb stays safe. This situation is a nightmare. As an immunocompromised dude the stories of people disregarding precautions bcuzfreedums are frustrating. But I think the ppl seeking solutions outside of just fining the shit out of ppl need to be listened to. If for no other reason than fines are never equitable.

Interstate rivalries are dumb as shit. But as a citizen of the state on _this_ end of the Murray, I can't help but think about what the general mood of the rest of the country (let's be honest, the "national" media) would be if we were the ones being hit this hard by COVID.

Pls remove Black Mirror from the vocabulary kthx.

I thought I’d give Fable 3 a little spin because I don’t think I ever finished it, but now I have John Fucking Cleese nagging me to buy DLC.

Perhaps grinding out mogtomes with Praetorium runs is not the way to ease myself back in to FFXIV.

Actually I enjoy eating shit. Joke's on you if you don't!

Librarians have to deal with a lot of crap, but I hope Tears for Fears leaves them alone now.

Hey future-set game devs, all those Elon Musk references are aging really well huh

Having an odd day where every photo of a young person I see has a "this person has died tragically" vibe to it.

Pocket pushed to 2021. Not shocked. I really should get back to designing and building the bits to install a MISTer in my A1200 case.

MISTer v Pocket, continued

I think getting the MISTer boards I would need would cost about $320 before shipping.

Let’s say $250. Then there’s the Dock. They sell their DAC for $80 so let’s just say $80. So $280 to $330 US.

That’s $350 to $465 AU. Add shipping and that’s $600 to $700.

Then on to unit prices. When it was announced it was $200. Who knows if they will hold at that. They sell the Mega SG and Super NT for $190 each. I’m still unclear on the chip in the Pocket, but it will be on par or better than that in those. Plus the Cyclone 10, plus the screen.
