@dripapp a German translation would be really helpful.
@Atoro we have it on the top five to-do list of bigger features to implement
Welcome here!
And thank you for this great app
I would have a suggestion for a new feature if you have the possibility to develop it: an option to connect with one's calendar to display the previsions there (including maybe using a personal vocabulary, so it can even be work friendly).
I know it would help me a lot to be able to do that, making it much easier to take my cycle into account when organizing a few weeks ahead.
@dripapp@mastodon.social Local only menstrual cycle and fertility tracking app? Wow
@dripapp when you say secure, do you mean that you do not keep our data on your servers?
@Shkshkshk We like to speak of drip as an offline-only app. Once you download drip, it will only check with play/app store/ f-droid for updates, if you download the apk from our website not even that will happen. In the usual sense we do not have any "server". All data is stored on your device only. And you can set a password for encryption.
@dripapp @PrototypeFund i am using kurvenreich
@dripapp
Welcome
Especclially since you develop the only up to date app in your area.
@PrototypeFund
@dripapp Do you know trackle? https://trackle.de They are from #Bonn and a really nice team. I am no expert, but is integration or collaboration interesting? /cc @kaa007 @Pausanias
@Sascha @kaa007 @Pausanias
Hi yes, we know they are are doing cool symptothermal things and we are friends with a very nice person working there , but they are commercial, we are not; they are cloud based, we are not; they are big, we are +-2 ppl...
@dripapp @Sascha @Pausanias ...but we're all working for reproductive health "big" is quite a strong word for our small team, but yes, it is more than two. Hope to meet soon and have a chat!
@dripapp @PrototypeFund
Would it be possible to get a setting to change when you get a notification reminder? I find 3 days to be excessive and tend to forget by then.
Hi @snazzles thanks for reaching out. this is kind of on our minds already, see here https://gitlab.com/bloodyhealth/drip/-/issues/506 we will add your request and consider what could be possible.
But also we have to say, most probably it won't happen fast.
@dripapp @PrototypeFund I"m having some trouble importing data from a CSV file into the Drip app. The dates go back to 8/7/2018 and end with 3/19/2024. I filled them in on the simple CSV in the DRIP faq, and I only filled in the dates, bleeding.value, and bleeding.exclude. Unfortunately I get this error message every time:
"Future dates may only contain a note, no other symptoms. No data was imported or changed."
What am I doing wrong?
@crowmarkcreations @PrototypeFund most of the problems I saw had to do with the date format in the csv, days being double or in wrong order. Obviously also what the error message says, if you have future dates. But most problems are caused by the app on your PC transforming the days into a format this app likes better... It has to be exactly year-month-day: 2024-05-15
@dripapp Hm. EDIT: NEVER MIND. Found the problem. I told LibreOffice to sort the sheet from newest to oldest, and found that my brain and my fingers had parted ways on three dates throughout the sheet- changing 2021 and 2022 and 2022 again to 2024. So the poor app really was trying to deal with future dates, I just didn't realize it. My apologies for imposing on your time!
@crowmarkcreations the app doesn't mind if the latest or the earliest date comes first but the file has to be consistent (you can import a second file sorted the other way round but consistent in itself). Don't worry, glad you solved the error.
@dripapp @PrototypeFund I hope at least half the team are menstruators.
