Does anybody else here play #eclipsephase or #deltagreen? #RPG
@klintron Old school or new school? Been listening to RPPR run the new one and it's way more than the usual "Disposable DG agents in a one-shot."
I've been considering what could be done with the new #unknownarmies, also.
@drwho I was just gonna say the new UA just came out. I have the new DG Agent's Handbook, and the rules are very nice. But since the Case Officer's handbook is out yet, I think I'd have to rely on the old school for content, which is fine.
@drwho I have some ideas for a campaign that could probably work for either DG or UA depending on what the players wanted. Heard mixed things about the new UA edition, though.
Is it God's Teeth that you've been listening to? I listened to a bit of that and it was great.
@klintron The new ed of UA doesn't seem nearly as bleak. It doesn't make me cringe when I read through the books, unlike the earlier editions.
@drwho I like 2nd ed. Still haven't played, partially because I'm a little gun shy about the game since it's basically an RPG about how I spent my 20s
@drwho Also, if you're into PbtA at all, there's this: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BzodcvOSM5bDaFFIbXBvNjk3YlU/edit
@drwho I might also just end up building my own system for that campaign, but I already have a lot of game ideas.
@klintron You might want to try repurposing another system first, to get a sense for how the stories go. Maybe a mechanics-lite system like d6? Possibly the Amber rules system? I don't know what kind of game you have in mind, so I'm just spitballing here.
@drwho What I'd probably do for that is extend Cthulhu Dark with some ideas from a couple other games.
@drwho Only the old Delta Green-as-sourcebook for CoC, sorry.
@drwho Been wanting to run a Delta Green campaign for awhile now.
